After playing bass in the Laurie Berkner Band for more than ten years, I missed my friend. I loved recording this tune together to follow our previous duets “Soft Things” from my album Love Me For Who I Am, and “There’s A Hole In The Bucket” from Laurie’s Favorite Classic Kids’ Songs.

Hei! Super excited to tour Finland & Estonia this year. I'll play solo shows and collaborate with Finnish children's music star Maco Oey for some bilingual concerts. Kiitos paljon to Maija Leminen for brainstorming & organizing this cool idea.

“D is for Dancing" is inspired by my Mom and Dad's record collection that I discovered as a kid. It was filled with magical songs and exciting artists like Elvis, Little Richard, The Supremes, and Chuck Berry.

Recorded in Brooklyn, NY, at Grand Street Recording and Douglass Recording Studio, "D is For Dancing" features seasoned Little Band members Jeremy Chatzky, Larry Eagle, Seth Farber, and Liz Queler—who know a thing or two about rock 'n' roll—and guest electric guitarist Matt Beck of Matchbox Twenty, who adds some tasty licks.
